For multiple choice, true/false, and matching questions some tips to help this process are: write clearly worded instructions, avoid using negations and double/triple negations as they are confusing, don't leave clues in the question format such as varying answer lengths or patterns to the correct answers e.g. c.) c.) c.). This allows student buy in and personal accountability for scores received after completion of the project.
